Champagne Le Brun de Neuville Grand Vintage 2009
The color is shiny yellow-gold colour, with straw yellow highlights.
The nose reveals charming notes of candied lemon, biscuit, warm Danish pastry, acacia honey, almond paste, bergamot, peach. When aerated it evolves towards smells of fig, Morello cherry, blackcurrant, liquorice, stewed quince, iodine, sweet spices, roasting and cocoa.
On the palate is fresh and develops rich and pulpy matter sustained by an acidity reminding those of lemon. The middle mouth is orchestrated by chalky minerality that provides frankness, salinity. The finish is savoury, rich and full of ripe aromas, embodies well the soul of this special vintage.
